Griffon Bruxellois Dog, Ch Glenwood Grig

Ch Glenwood Grig

Our frontispiece this month illustrates the Griffon Bruxellois Dog, Ch Glenwood Grig. He and his dam were bred by Mrs Barwell. He is a small dog of the most desirable type. Compact body with bone of great substance, broad deep chest, well rounded ribs, and excels in head and expression, with beautiful eyes, huge nostrils, and small, correctly-carried ears on the top of his head.
He is a winner of over forty prizes, including six times First in Open Dogs at Championship shows.
As a sired he promises to make a great name. Of his progeny already seen, Glenwood Galena is well known, having won over twenty prizes in her first year, followed by a year in retirement for maternal duties. Betty of Lavenderway and Partrigedge Hill Purchase have won CC's, and puppies worthy of the show ring have been sold.
The fact that the demand for puppies by him exceeds the supply each time his photograph appears in the Press, shows the popularity of his type.
